For the second year, the Zero Calorie Advent Calendar is back to bring you a healthy alternative to chocolate for the countdown to the holidays.
Brought to you by London fitness bloggers From Snickers to Marathon, Diary of a Dashing Fashionista and PT Mollie, our Advent Calendar offers a little cheer every day between 1 - 25 December 2013.
Each day a new workout, recipe and health & fitness business offer (from free class passes to discounts on top products) will be provided with the aim to keep those interested in health and happiness on track when parties are non-stop.
Our message is all about balance. We don’t want to suck all the fun out of the festive season, but we do want to encourage people not to use it as an excuse to eat lots of unhealthy food and forget about their fitness goals (trust me, we’ve all done it!).
You don’t have to start the New Year feeling sluggish and out of shape after a December of over-indulgence and tempted to sign up to a punishing and unrealistic puritanical new fitness regime - besides, we think keeping fit and staying active is fun!
New to the Zero Calorie Advent Calendar this year are in-person events in London to allow the Calendar community to meet and sweat together. Make sure you keep an eye on our blog for all the details!
This year we are thrilled to be supporting the charity A Mile In Her Shoes, which leads run clubs for homeless women as a way to help them get back on their feet.
