Currently working as a full-time English teacher in South East London, Helen (200hrRYT) trained with international yoga teacher, Claire Missingham, as well as Charlotta Martinus from Yoga4Teens UK and teaches a dynamic form of yoga called Vinyasa Flow. This energetic practice, set to an uplifting soundtrack, serves to connect breath with movement in order to encourage freedom and space to move with positivity and awareness both on and off your mat.
Helen has a passion for working with teachers and teens and currently runs teen (ages 11-18) classes through City to Schools (T: @city2schools), a project created by not-for-profit organisation ‘Yoga4You‚Äô (www.yogaforyoultd.com), in which yoga classes run in the city fund yoga projects for schools in and around London. ¬†Through this, Helen hopes to help broaden awareness of yoga as an exciting way of keeping fit and calm in this hectic world.
Her classes are down-to-earth, challenging and supportive, combining a mixture of Vinyasa sequences with more restorative poses to tone the body and rejuvenate the mind.
